Welcome to the Internet home of Apples United Church of Christ in Thurmont Maryland. We are a small church and congregation with a deep history in the Reformed and UCC Traditions.

Who We Are

Apples is a church from the Reformed German tradition. We are a part of the mainstream United Church of Christ (more info here: http://www.ucc.org) We pride ourselves as a congregation-powered group. The UCC does have a hierarchy, but each church has the power to hire the individuals to lead the church. We have regular Sunday Services at 9:30a.m.. One of our ‘missions’ is to give out to the community/world. We pride ourselves in giving over 20% of our budget as outreach yearly.
